ACTA Informatique:key elements (1) • A small private ICT company • Shareholders: Agricultural R&D organisations and ICT companies • 9 people - 900 000 € / year • Two weekly electronic newsletters in French (>19000) and English (>2000) • Seminars and training sessions • Network and security management • System expertise (Linux, Windows, Novell) • Hosting and developing web services • Developing Windows applications

ACTA Informatique:key elements (2) • Developing Lotus services • Selling routers and firewalls • Statistical analysis with SAS • Developing agricultural software programs (crop protection and other domains) • Marketing software solutions to develop web sites and implement collections of digital photos

  9. ACTA Informatique:E-business software already implemented • Strong identification tool (Cryptocard) • Direct payment: e.g. the direct input of credit card number on one of our web site (see itp.asso.fr) to pay for documents • Certification (PKI) to be implemented

  10. ACTA Informatique:Links with companies / Acquisition SME • Contacts with groups of agricultural input retailers • Contacts with companies using / promoting e-business functionalities

  11. ACTA Informatique:European meetings • Main idea: to take the opportunity to organize international seminars to show what is happening in other countries • To try to benefit from the efita newsletter to find contributors / to promote the above meetings

  12. ACTA Informatique:Organisation of workshopson e-business for SME's • Short practical sessions (half day sessions in Paris) • Training sessions (one day on the spot)
