    3. Theme of talk Introduction Defining the problem. Podcasting. Why podcasting? Research ( tool-Data analysis- results- recommendations)

    4. Introduction Technology based Educational reform. Digitalized students. From distant learning to mobile learning. Learning a foreign language Since 2005, there have seen rapid advances in podcasting, a new technology for broadcasting audio programs on the Internet. 5. Define the problem Insufficiency of speaking skill among Saudi students. Although English has become an essential requirement in most professional fields and certainly the international language for business is English, this has not led to wide spread fluency in speaking English. Fluency in English is an essential requirement in finding a good job, nonetheless we still find deficiencies in this proficiency and learners tend to focus on learning the language only to translate content or passing exams. Typically, ESL learners in Saudi Arabia pay little attention to practicing the language daily. Globalization means competition and competition means that more recently qualified teachers who are both competent in using technology as well as more traditional methods are developing the techniques to enhance learning and speaking in English.( sarcastic classmates) Although English has become an essential requirement in most professional fields and certainly the international language for business is English, this has not led to wide spread fluency in speaking English. 19. Podcasts downloaded on a phone

    20. Aim of the research Two groups (Controlled and experimental) To measure the efficiency of using Podcasting in enhancing speaking skill by testing the hypothesis: there are differences in having clear statistics among the average scores of the two groups.

    21. Data analysis Data analysis identified different results. The performance of the experimental group used the (Podcasting) method was better than the performance of the group using the conventional/traditional method.

    22. Data analysis

    23. Results Data analysis ensures the effectiveness of podcasting in enhancing speaking skill among students of ESL. This result agrees with results of other researches like (Sze,2008) ,(Moreira &Menez,2009), ( Cenin, McCullough & Reynold,2007)

    24. Results Self pace learning students (Individualized Instruction) Students build their own learning Constructivism.(piaget,1934). Allow for student creativity in assignments and develop critical analysis (Bloom) More motivation and self esteem. Story of a sts built his own learning (sharing stanford story)0 such learning will stay Story of a sts built his own learning (sharing stanford story)0 such learning will stay

    25. Results Engage the students with their technology Encourages cooperative learning. (team work) Suits all learning styles. conduct alternative assessments of students, beyond the traditional tests and reports. PBL (project based learning) activities.

    26. Recommendations Review computer skills and software needed for production process. Define the purpose of the Podcast. Brainstorm potential topics for the Podcast with students. Produce rough scripts with students. Record the Podcast content Edit recording in audio editing program. Post content to Internet and RSS feed The Ministry of Education should work harder in facilitating a technical support team responsible in increase the level of awareness with the latest educational technical methods.
