  2. Teacher Development • Partnership began in summer 2008 • Provided Staff Development to Secondary Science Teachers • Training extended to Elementary Science Teachers in 2010 • Has reached over 300+ teachers across the district

  3. S.T.E.M. Made Easy! Ship the Chip Design and Build a Better Candy Bag

  4. National Lab Days Started in 2010 with the enacting of National Lab Day by President Obama • One lab K-12 • Inquiry based investigations • Modified for grade levels • District wide trainings delivered to teachers and community • Since 2010 future labs developed by TryEngineering • Provide volunteers to help in schools on lab days • Student exposure to careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics

  6. The World Robotic Basketball League’s top ranked team, the BOTS are looking for the best free-throw player they can find. Tryouts are today!

  7. The FBISD 500’s top-ranked racing team, The Mach 5, is looking for the fastest race car they can find that can travel its most challenging race track, The Grand Prix. Qualifying races are today!
