  3. A is for Angles An angle is amount of a turn between two straight lines that have a common end point.

  4. B is for Billion • Billion usually me a thousand millions.

  5. C is for Circle • Circle means A2- dimensional shape made by drawing a curve that is always the same distance from a center.

  6. D is for Division • We use the ÷ symbol, or sometimes the / symbol to mean divide.

  7. E is for edge • Edge mean the line where two surfaces meet.

  8. F is for Fraction Fraction mean part of a Hole.

  9. G is for Graph • Graph means a diagram of values, usually shown as lines or bars.

  10. I is for Inch • An inch is a measure of length.

  11. H is for HOUR • Hour means a period of time equal to 1/24 (a twenty-fourth) of a day.

  12. J is for Jump Strategy • Jump Strategy means Jumping by parts of a number to solve a calculation.

  13. K is for Kite • Kite means A Metric measure of mass.

  14. L is for Least • Least means Smallest.

  15. M is for Map • Map means A diagram of a place.

  16. N is for Net • A pattern that you can cut and fold to make a model of a solid shape.

  17. O is for Oval • An oval or ovoid is any curve that looks like an egg or an ellipse.

  18. P is for PM • Is the half of the day from Midday to Midnight.

  19. Q is for Quadrangle • Another name for for Quadrilateral

  20. R is for Run • How far a line goes along (for a given distance going up).

  21. S is for Shape • The form of an object - how it is laid out in space (not what it is made of, or where it is).

  22. T is for • Numbers or quantities arranged in rows and columns

  23. U is for Unit Price • The cost per liter, per kilogram, per pound, etc, of what you want to buy.

  24. V is for Volume • The amount of 3-dimensional space an object occupies.

  25. W is for Winter • The season before spring

  26. X is for X The letter "x" is often used in algebra to mean a value that is not yet known.

  27. Y is for Year • A period of time in which the Earth makes a complete revolution around the sun.

  28. Z is for Zero • The whole number between -1 and 1, with the symbol 0
