ATLAS analysis One Lepton Mode SUSY

This study presents a detailed analysis of background estimation techniques in SUSY searches, focusing on lepton events from tt and W processes. Utilizing a dataset of 1fb^-1, control samples with specific mass thresholds and jet criteria are employed to enhance accuracy. Various parameters, including leading jet pT, missing transverse energy (mEt), and the number of jets, are examined. The resulting estimation of backgrounds informs about systematic errors, contributing to improved understanding of SUSY signatures against standard model backgrounds.
