  2. Event Management • Registration • BYOB or Third Party Vendor • Beer Check In & Wristbands (on campus) • Party Patrol • Guest List & Sign In sheet • Food, Water, Snacks • Clean Up

  3. Never… • Use chapter funds to purchase alcohol • Have a common container (kegs, punch, jello shots • Play drinking games (beer pong, flip cup) • Let a guest leave the party with an open container • Allow alcohol at new member activities

  4. Always… • Take care of members and guests • Have at least 6 people on party patrol • Make sure members and guests have a safe way to get home • End events my 2:00 am • Comply with directives from police

  5. Hazing • Personal servitude • Sleep deprivation (no activities between midnight and 9:00 am) • Forced consumption of alcohol • Physical abuse • Embarrassment or harassment • Line ups

  7. Drugs • Marijuana • Cocaine • Prescription drugs • Absolute Zero Tolerance

  8. As an advisor… • Be knowledgeable about campus and national organization policies • Confront inappropriate behavior and ideas • Monitor the checkbook • Spend time with the new members • Be available • Inquire about insurance coverage from national organization
