We offer valuable scholarship opportunities like the Houston L.S. AMP Scholarship and el Paso Energy Partners Scholarship, along with excellence workshops and mentor programs to enhance learning. Collaborating closely with organizations such as NSBE, SWE, and SHPE, PROMES is dedicated to fostering diversity and excellence in engineering.   2. The Community of PROMES • Now with over 500 members and open to all students, PROMES has encouraged and supported many students and from freshman to graduating engineering students.

  3. Scholarship Opportunities • Houston L. S. AMP Scholarship • Shell Incentive Scholarship • El Paso Energy Partners Scholarship • NACME Scholars Scholarship • And other scholarships that are available to students of PROMES.

  4. Excellence Workshops Where students learn to work in groups and reinforce material learned in their engineering classes.

Who can join? • Students who are pursing a degree in engineering. • Students who want to make that good first impression in college. • Students who recognize that they can benefit from working in a diverse community of students who want to excel and who want to take advantage of facilities and resources provided for them.

  13. How do I join? • Fill out and mail in your PROMES application. • Apply to the University of Houston. • When you come for orientation or come to get your classes, get advised by us so you can get the targeted classes. • Then come to UH to excel!
