Review of MGs involvement in SRA process

  2. - 4th MG meeting 4 July 06: General and specific comments on SRA(“old” and “new” versions)- General comments presented at 8th AC meeting 5 July; compiled paper version of specific comments handed over to AC- see minutes of 8th AC meeting

  3. 9th AC meeting 14 Sep 06: new version of SRA ready one week before the meeting, forwarded to MG on 7 Sep- SRA structure extended; core SRA now is section 4 “Research Areas and Tasks”- Comments received from Belgium and Spain; compiled and forwarded to AC on 13 September- inclusion of a section 6 “The SRA and national… programmes” discussed

  6. 23 Nov NL request for MG meeting in early December- Commission offers room for 20 Dec- MG prefers meeting in January- 24 Jan, one day before next AC

  7. 11th AC meeting 29 Nov 06- draft proposal for section 6 distributed to MG on 15 Nov; comments received from Norway and Germany- table of national priorities; responses from a number of states; not yet from all; shall be a living document on the web

  8. SRA finalized for immediate publication on the web(comments from France on section 6 received 22 Jan 07)- paper publication foreseen by the Commission- understanding that “MG position” will be a separate document- draft for “MG position” distributed to MG on 15 Jan; comments received from Norway and France
