This lesson focuses on the structure and functions of cell organelles. Students will learn to compare and contrast different organelles essential to cellular survival through a detailed Organelle Chart. The objective is to understand the basics of cell theory, including that all living things are made of cells, and explore the relationship between cells and organisms. Additionally, students will engage in creative writing by choosing an organelle they would like to be and explaining their choice, incorporating vocabulary terms for reinforcement.
