  3. SB 440 • To date, 58 community colleges have met the SB 440 requirement • 26 colleges are 1 away from meeting the obligation • 20 are 2 away from meeting the obligation • 9 colleges are 3 or more away

  4. SB 440 Common Compliance Challenges • Keeping Computer Science, Music and Chemistry ADTs within the mandated 60-unit limit • Delays in the approval of courses in the C-ID process

  5. Current Status • There are 32 Transfer Model Curriculums (TMCs) • As of October 21, 2015, there are 1,973 ADTs offered at a community college • Among these active ADTs, 644 were developed in disciplines where the colleges were not legally obligated to create them

  11. Updates • Summit scheduled for December 7-8 at Sacramento Hilton Arden West. Registration is open. CO CI System Overview The Chancellor's Office Curriculum Inventory holds the listing of approved courses and programs currently or previously made available through the California Community Colleges. Version currently in use at the CO was built and is being managed by Governet. Determination was made to replace CO CI system with application built by the CCC Tech Center using a BPM.

  18. Design of New System Prototype of new system completed in September and presented to CO stakeholders for review and sign off – DESIGN APPROACH APPROVED! Requirements for minimally viable v1.0 of the new system are under active development.

  19. CO CI MVP Criteria

  20. Data Clean Up Clean data will be loaded into the new system. The Tech Center has written requirements for a full feature support application to do the heavy lifting for the Colleges. Development of the support application will commence shortly. Data Clean Up efforts will commence in earnest in January 16.

  21. Application Support • Governet will manage current system through June 2016. • Cross functional team meets weekly to prioritize changes. • Only data quality enhancements will be prioritized. • All other system changes will be rolled into new version by Tech Center.
