  10. To Date: • $699,960 awarded for fish passage restoration • $534,133 awarded for salt marsh restoration • $79,096 awarded for seagrass restoration • $15,696 awarded for dune restoration Total Funds awarded to date = $1,425,000 (total of 48 projects) Total Funds leveraged to date = over $13.6M

  12. Project Progress • Of 48 funded projects (including this year’s awards), 37 have been completed with another 4 expected to go to construction this year.

  13. 2009 NOAA Stimulus Funding • CRMC has requested $8.6M from NOAA in ARRA habitat restoration funding for “shovel ready” habitat restoration projects

Trust Fund Application Process • Submit pre-proposal to CRMC (October) • Pre-proposals reviewed by Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) • Full proposals requested from approved applicants • Full proposals submitted and reviewed by TAC (December) • Awards approved by Council and announced in January
