  1. Students Team Up to Fight Hunger 2012-2013 CDCKI Membership Development and Education Committee

  2. What is STUFH? • The purpose of STUFH is to put food in the mouths of those who need it most. • Student’s work together to end hunger in their community. • STUFH is a service partner of Circle K International along with March of Dimes and UNICEF!

  3. Why Is This Important? • 15% of United States households experience some food uncertainty. • This is approximately 1 in every 7 homes. • The number of people in poverty is increasing every year and so is the number of people who are hungry.

  4. Who Can Help? • There are currently volunteers through STUFH in every state except Alaska and Wyoming. • CKI members are strongly encouraged to participate by helping this cause. • February is the month when food banks supply is the lowest, making this the perfect time to do a food drive!

  5. Ways to Get Involved • Hold a canned food drive. • Have a food fight where different campus groups or K-Fambring in canned goods to see who can get the most. • Get the whole campus involved with “Stuff a Bus”see if you can fill an entire bus. • For more ideas go to http://www.stufh.org/news.html • Or email our CKI service ambassadors: service.cki@gmail.com
