  2. The STEM Clubs Network is managed by STEMNET and the British Science Association on behalf of the Department of Education (was DCSF)

  3. Why set up a STEM Club? • Can go ‘off curriculum’ and ‘cross curriculum’ • Makes STEM subjects fun • Expected for STEM specialist schools • Mentioned in OFSTED grade descriptors for the science curriculum • Improves uptake of STEM subjects at GCSE and beyond

Advantages of the network • Free support and advice to suit your school • Make new contacts • Resources and information tailored for clubs • Have access to exclusive SCN events • Membership can be in parallel with other clubs such as Young Engineers and Salters • It’s free! http://www.stemclubs.net/
