At Bearfield Primary School, our 2nd Grade Team focuses on refining learning targets to empower students. By implementing T.A.R.G.E.T.S. (Taking Responsibility, Action Verbs, Rigorous Goals, Measurable Objectives, Exceeding Expectations, Teamwork, and Student Achievement), we foster a child-friendly environment where students take charge of their learning. We utilize Bloom’s action verbs to encourage higher-level thinking and ensure rigorous instruction that aligns with educational standards. Our collaboration and focus on measurable outcomes are key to enhancing student achievements and critical thinking skills.
