  3. About us (2) Theparishissurroundedby Jõelähtme intheNorth, by Anija inthe east, by Kose inthesouth and by Rae parishinthewest Thefirstrecordsabout Raasiku Municipality made intheDanishassessment register LiberCensusDaniadatebackto 1241. Raasiku Municipalitywasre-established on 12 March 1992.
  4. Villages We have 13 villages and the main ones are Aruküla (1987 inhabitants) and Raasiku (1304 inhabitants)
  5. Schools Wehave 3 schools: Aruküla PrimarySchool – 240 pupils Raasiku PrimarySchool – 138 pupils Pikavere Kindergarden/PrimarySchool- 51 pupils Kindergartens Wehave 2: Aruküla Kindergarten – 167 children Raasiku Kindergarten – 52 children
  6. Culture (1) We have one Music School in Aruküla 5 libraries in Aruküla, Raasiku, Pikavere, Kiviloo and Peningi 2 Culture centers with many possibilities to see theatre plays, concerts; make handcraft; dance national dances etc.
