The Beginners Guide - How to Prepare Quantitative Aptitude for Central and State Government Exams There are most of the candidates who have been preparing for the central and government exam for quantitative aptitude and might be finding huge difficulty in preparing for the exam. The candidates usually face problem in solving quantitative exam rather than any other, because others they find quite easy as they are theoretical. When the candidate’s starts preparing for the quantitative exam they find it difficult to solve the problem as it takes lot of time for them to solve and in exam we do not have that much of time to spend on 1 question. Therefore in this article we will talk about how to prepare for the quantitative aptitude for central and government exam and the best tips to follow. Basically, there are some topics that are most common in every central or government exam and candidates have to prepare them such as Number series, Decimal fractions, Time, Speed and Distance, Boat and Stream, Allegations, Averages, Geometry, Simple interest and Compound interest, Simplification, Problems based on trains, Profit or Loss. Now, let us have a look on some of the tips that we need to follow while preparing for the quantitative exam for central as well as government exam: •Basic concept This is one of the most important tip that one must follow because, if you have no basic clear then it will be hard for you to prepare for the exam. The quantitative aptitude section is completely based upon the mathematical part and hence you should clear your basics first before going to the next level. Therefore, solve the questions from the class 6,7 and 8 and clear your basics to go to advance level. •Basic formulas and identities Next comes the section where you should learn the basic identities and the formulas on your fingertips which will help you to solve the questions faster and will not consume much of your time. These type of questions are highly important to get good marks in your quantitative section for central as well as government exam. •Make shortcuts This is another important tip that you need to follow is to make shortcuts of your preparation that your faculty or your instructor might have given you. The shortcuts will help the candidate’s to quickly solve the questions and speed up their papers in best possible way and score good marks as well.
