  1. The Fall of Troy By Aaliyah the Armadillo Nicole the Nightingale Sydney the Seahorse

  2. The Fall of Troy • Once Hector died, Achilles knew his death was near. • Achilles killed the Prince of Ethiopia, Memnon. • Memnon was the son of the Goddess of Dawn. • Apollo helped guide Paris’s arrow to Achilles’s heel. • Achilles died.

  3. The Fall of Troy • Achilles’s body was burned. • Odysseus and Ajax were decided to be most worthy of wicked arms made by Hephaestus (arms as in armor, perhaps). • Odysseus received the arms. • Ajax strongly believed that Agamemnon and Menelaus turned the votes against him.

  4. The Fall of Troy • Ajax felt guilty after killing many animals so he committed suicide; his death was not honored. • Diomedes and Neoptolemus succeeded in stealing Hercules’s bow and arrow. • The Greeks wanted to surprise attack the Trojans so they created a giant, wooden horse. • The Trojans fell for the Greeks’ trick.

  5. The Fall of Troy • Sinon fooled the Trojans into bringing the horse to the temple of Athena. • Once all of Troy was asleep, the Greeks came out of the horse and started fires in the city’s buildings. • By the time the Trojans were ready to attack, the city of Troy was on the verge of being demolished. • It was very vicious and malevolent between the Trojans and the Greeks.

  6. The Fall of Troy • Andromache sacrificed her son, Astyanax. The soldiers threw him from the walls of Troy. • Troy’s last sacrifice was the death of Hector’s son.
