  2. Process • All students to fill in Student Application Form (staff to assist where necessary) • Return to Work Experience Co-ordinator • Copy given to EP. Copy will be sometimes given to the employer. • EP to look for work placements. • EP to give contact to Work Experience Co-ordinator • Weekly meetings • Differentiated Work Experience according to learners needs. • References where appropriate

  3. Work Experience – how it works: • meet potential employer & and complete risk assessment • arrange initial meeting between student & employer • ensure parents/carers/tutors are informed • arrange date/format for placement to commence • complete placement paperwork • organise transport / public transport • organise support arrangements • consider detail such as: lunch arrangements, personal care, medical needs • placement takes place

  4. Work Experience – student files: These include: Work experience profiles Evidence and photographs Student details Work placement questionnaire Placement induction check list Employer placement review Targets Target evidence Directions to employer Risk assessment any additional information
