Routing Improvements: Objective • Help Desk support tickets and End User Survey feedback has shown that the Proposal Routing process is an area which can be improved in the following areas: • Routing initiation, tracking and intuitiveness • Answering the question “Where is my proposal” • Providing consistent, more informative & personal email communication throughout the routing process • Increasing the transparency of all of the proposal variables important for the review and approval process
Routing Improvements: Details • More Intuitive • Action Items with detailed information • Buttons instead of icons– goodbye to the “thumbs up” • Routing submission screen includes usernames and email addresses. • No longer the extra step to agree to the PI assurance or bypass the screen • Reviewer Dashboard layout is updated with a cleaner look i.e. PI assurance before the routing decision • Routing History updated and is now sorted with the last submitted route information at the top of the page • Routing Comments now listed on one page and are sorted with the last submitted route information at the top of the page
Routing Improvements: Details • More Transparent • Email Notes: Users can now send a personal message to the next reviewer that is not saved as a permanent part of the proposal record • Specific Confirmation email for each route (i.e. Draft and Final) • Approval emails will now include the current proposal step (i.e. Department Admin, Chief, etc) • Decline emails will now include who declined the proposal, what their role is • Decline and Confirmation emails will also now be sent to the person who submitted the proposal to routing • Reviewer Comments to be summarized on each email notification
