Additional IP Trunk and IP-PT and SIP Extension by Activation Key IP trunk, IP-PT and SIP-extension activation keys are available for installation along with software upgrade keys (See Next Page). You can get all additional activation keys from the PCC key management system 3. Temporary Maintenance Activation Key If there is an IPCMPR failure and the board is swapped for repair, you can obtain temporary activation keys from the PCC key management system. These keys are valid for 10 days, while the IPCMPR is repaired.

Max.2 KX-NCS4716 can be assigned per card. 4 Ch*4 KX-NCS4104=16 IP-GW or SIP-GW channels can be activated per card. 8*4 KX-NCS4208/4508 = 32 IP-PT or IP Softphone can be activated per card. 16*2 KX-NCS4716 = 32 SIP Ext. can be activated per card. KX-NCS4208 activation keys can be used for IP Softphone and IP-PT. KX-NCS4508 can be used for IP-PT only. Trunk licenses are allocated to either SIP or H323 trunks in 4’s. Activation Key Re-issue 1) Sends faulty ICPMPR Card 4) Inform IPCMPR ID, A.K.ID to PCC. 5) PCC clear the data and inform to Sales Company. 6) Sales Company inform to dealer to re-register Sales Company (Service) 2) Sales Company confirm IPCMPR is un-repairable. 3) Sales Company get Information from Dealer. (A.K. No., Reg. ID) PCC 7) Dealer login to get A.K. file. Send New Info. Key Management System Dealer 8) New A.K. file. New Info is 1 - New IPCMPR ID 2 - Activation Key No. (A.K. No.) 3 - Registration ID (Reg. ID)

Activation Key – Additional Info • Temporary Keys are valid for 10 days – If temporary keys are required for a longer period then they must be re-issued every 10 days (You must have an MPR id to request temporary keys). • There is no charge for the use of temporary keys. • License keys are allocated to a specific PBX – They cannot be moved even if the PBX is no longer in use. Further keys must be purchased to license new systems. • Previously downloaded license files can be re-used on the same MPR card (In the event of a system rebuild/restore). • When creating multi-key license files, there is a maximum limit of 8 keys per license file.
