General Appearance • Students to come in proper and clean uniform with no torn socks. • Follow the uniform provided from Uniform coordinators (PTA) • Boys – Starched Topi, white with golden border. • Brown pullovers for both boys & front buttons for girls • Girls: 2 Black clips on head to hold the scarf/black rubber band, hair to be neatly platted & oiled • PT Uniform to be worn on every Wednesday with white shoes

  4. Every Friday • Cut nails • Practice sending Nazrul-Maqaam (AS) to inculcate this habit in our children. • If necessary hair-cut for the boys, stylish cuts will not be allowed

  5. Things to Carry • Please give them : • Manageable & comfortable bags • School Diary ( Compulsory) • Water bottle • Napkin and Tiffin box. • Kerchief pinned to their uniform • ( Nursery Kids)

  6. Tiffin time • Provide them with healthy and nutritious food. • Preferably home made food. • Avoid giving them packets and oily food like chips, Kurkure, cream biscuits, cheese balls ( any kind of Preservatives) • Nutritious snacks • Roti • Bread • Idly dosa • Fruits • Vegetables • Anything Boiled

  7. Role of a parent • Look after your child with care & affection avoid using abusive language & corporal punishment • Breakfast- Provide your child with wholesome breakfast before coming to school. • Sleep- Make sure your child gets adequate amount of sleep every night.

  8. Activity sheets sent home every Friday should be preserved and maintained till the end of the academic year. • Label all your child's belonging. • Changing of van-stop will not be encouraged.

  9. Birthday Celebrations • We encourage you to make birthdays special for your child while at school, and we try to accommodate all your efforts in celebrating • Birthday celebrations are held during break time between 10:30am to 11:00 am • Birthday boy/girl to wear saya.kurta/jabla-izar • Class teacher and the UloomDiniyah teacher will handle the celebrations • We prefer if you contribute a book to school on the birthday occasion which helps children in enhancing their knowledge and develops reading habit.

  11. Regular reading habits • Parents should try to read to their children daily. • Picture reading is very important for this age group. • Books should be colorful, illustrative with big and clear pictures.

  12. Building Concentration • Involve them with activities like : • Sorting the different colored beads • Puzzle solving, • Picture reading, • Shoe lacing, • Clay play, • Lacing the beads, • Buttoning their shirts, • Segregating the different colored pulses/buttons. • Solving different activities book.

  14. Assessment System • Continuous and ongoing evaluation will be done on various learning skills Eg. Formation of letters, language skills, social, emotional skills, memory, cognitive development, eye hand co ordination, • Monthly profiles/report on the academic performance and other developments of the ward will be observed, documented and sent home www.msbbangalore.com

  16. Meeting Teachers • Take a prior appointment from the front office to meet the concerned teacher for any queries • It is compulsory for both the parents • to attend any organized meeting, programs or to collect the progress report. • Avoid interacting with teachers regarding school matter in any social gatherings. • Avoid making phone call to the teachers & if necessary between 5 to 6 pm.

  17. Updating Information • Please report to the front office for any CHANGE of the following: • Change of residence • Change of contact numbers Where we can reach you during the day or in case of emergency.

  18. Leave/Absence • Avoid Taking Leave. • Inform the school well in advance in writing on A4 size paper or through school website regarding any kind of leave the child may require. • Take prior permission from the Masool/Vice Principal • Book tickets for out station journeys only after leave has been granted. • Medical certificate to be produced on resuming of school after medical leave.

  19. Illness • Leave your child at home if he/she is suffering from mild temperature or your child is suffering from an infection until treated by the physician. • On resuming the school kindly produce Medical Certificate. • Children who fall sick at school should be picked up immediately upon any notification given by the school authorities.
