On August 4, 1961. • He is married to Michelle Obama, and has two daughters with her, Malia Ann Obama and Natasha Obama, • He attended Columbia University(1983) and Harvard Law School(1991). • Barack Obama was elected on November 4, 2008. • Obama is the first American president of African descent. • Oath of office is required by the U.S constitution. • The swearing-in ceremonies took place at the West Front of the Capitol. • Ceremonies began at 10:00 a.m. on January 20, 2009.
