  11. More (3)用上下文来记忆 Translate the sentence into Chinese. First of all, learning thousands of characters is a chore, and there's nothing for it but to learn them by heart. There + be + nothing for it but … can be used before a noun clause to emphasize that this is the only possible choice or course of action. Note that the expression is followed by the infinitive form of a verb. 首先,学习几千个汉字就是一件苦差事,除了把它们牢记在心之外,没有别的办法。

Fluency and Coherence: Coherence The key indicators of coherence are logical sequencing of sentences, clear marking of stages in a discussion, narration or argument, and the use of cohesive devices(e.g. connectors, pronouns and conjunctions) within and between sentences. 连贯性问题: 1.连接词很有限: 不知道怎么开头? 不知道怎么表达"然后" ? 2.表达似乎流畅 ,其实不能控制语速,发音含糊不清。 例如:Where did you go last summer vacation ? I went to Kazakhstan [ˌkæzək'stæn] 哈萨克斯坦

Fluency and Coherence: 连贯性问题解决方法: 1.连接词很有限: (1)避免老是用“I think”开头,可以选择的短语: When it comes to Speaking of In terms of Talking about As for (2)避免老是用“and”来连接,可以选择的短语: in addition,besides, plus, what's more , apart from that, on top of that, furthermore 2.不能控制语速 请放慢语速,力求表达清楚,可以用一下词汇争取思考时间: That is a tough question.   23. Presentation Practice: 1. Self-introduction 2. present your last trip: Where did you go ? When did you go ? Why did you go there ? Who did you go with ? What did you do ? How did you like this experience ? Requirement : Use at least three signposting sentences in you presentation .
