About the Company In 1977 Diesel Components, Inc. first opened its doors as a family owned, regional warehouse distributor and authorized repair facility of turbochargers for AireSearch, Garrett Turbo, and Schwitzer to name just a few. It didn’t take long for our company to become recognized and respected as a supplier to the heavy duty on and off highway vehicle and equipment markets in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. As our reputation for prompt, courteous service and value grew, so did the territory we served. Diesel Components, Inc. operates by two simple concepts. We treat our customers in the same manner in which we would want to be treated. We believe in doing every job and filling every order right the first time.

Diesel Fuel Injection Testing and Repair Diesel Fuel Injection It was not too long, after opening our doors in 1977 as a regional warehouse distributor for turbochargers that Diesel Components, Inc. made the decision to add diesel fuel injector testing and rebuilding capability to the company. This was done in direct response to inquiries and requests for support from local fleets and construction companies wanting to have a local facility that could provide quick and dependable service. To provide the best possible service, as we have done with turbochargers, it was important for us to first acquire authorization from the leading diesel fuel injector manufacturers. To accomplish this required investing in testing equipment, hiring competent technicians, and providing them with the most current training available from each of the brands we were going to represent. Not until we had gained confidence in our capabilities through the injector OEM training process, did we finally offer injector testing and repair services to our customers.

Diesel Fuel Injection Pump Testing and Repair Once again, to provide the best possible service, as we have done previously with turbochargers and the diesel fuel injectors, we acquired authorization from the leading diesel fuel injection manufacturers. Just as before, to accomplish this required investing in testing equipment, and this time, cross-training our already competent injector technicians, by providing them with the most current training available from each of the brands we were going to represent. Using the same methodology as with the injector training, we waited until we had gained confidence in our capabilities through the injection OEM training process, before offering injection pump testing and repair services to our customers. By now we knew that it was our attention to detail and commitment to providing the highest quality parts and service that was most important to our customers, so we continue today to provide that same level of excellence.

Turbo Charger Repair From the very beginning, Diesel Components, Inc. was intended to be a regional warehouse distributor and authorized repair facility of turbochargers for AireSearch, Garrett, and Schwitzer to name just a few. The original intention was to serve the heavy duty on and off highway markets in the upper Midwest. That was back in 1977, since then, we have continued to grow, not just in products and services offered, but also, in the markets we now serve. That growth in the decades that followed expanded our reputation as being one of the best family owned turbocharger rebuilding facilities and has allowed us to serve companies and individuals throughout North America as well as other countries around the world.

Engine Fan Clutch Repair We bring that same commitment of only using top quality parts and providing the professional service that we have used for our diesel fuel injection and turbocharger rebuilding to our in house fan clutch rebuilding and repair capabilities. When it comes to fan clutches, our technicians are highly skilled and use the latest repair techniques. We also stock components to cover 99% of all heavy duty fan clutches. All of our repair components are nationally recognized brand name, and we cover thousands of fan clutch part numbers, many which may be either obsolete or difficult to find. So, it doesn’t matter what your application is, whether you are working with agricultural or construction equipment, a gen-set, school or transit bus, over the road or local delivery truck or even a river barge if it has a diesel engine and needs a fan clutch to be rebuilt or replaced, Diesel Components, Inc. has what you need.
