  1. Title of Your InventionChallenge # First Name, Last Initial Age State or Country

  2. Describe the problem you want to solve. Ex. In my cafeteria a sign is used to indicate which table has clean up duty and what ends up happening is that students who arrive for lunch first, move the sign off their table so they can get out of cleaning up. **This step is required.

  3. Make a list of possible ways to solve this problem. (Sometimes we also add a question like - How have people tried to solve this problem in the past? Think of how you can improve on other solutions.) **This step is required.

  4. Draw pictures and diagrams to show your invention and how it might work. **This step is required.

  5. Build your prototype. Write down each step so that you will remember exactly how you built your model.

  6. Perform some experiments to find out how well your prototype works. Write down the results of each test.

  7. How can you improve your prototype?

  8. Give your invention a name and explain why people should buy it. **This step is required.
