  1. Chemistry 11/12 • The bridging science between Biology and Physics, studying matter and it’s various interactions • Mid level math skills required • Not much memorization • Mid level lab difficulty

  2. Biology 11/12 • The study of living things. Bio11 focusses on the different types of life while Bio 12 focuses specifically on how the human body works • Minimal math skills required • Extensive memorization required • Mid level lab difficulty

  3. Physics 11/12 • Study of motion, forces, light, electricity, relativity, energy etc. • Strong math skills required • Strong problem solving skills required • Little memorization required • High lab expectations

  4. Earth Science 11/Geology 12 • Study of many earth processes: rocks and minerals, weather, tectonics, space etc • Minimal math skills required • Simpler lab expectations • Some memorization required

  5. Psychology 11/AP Psychology • Study of the form and function of the human brain and the behaviours it produces • Minimal math skills required • Some memorization required • Simpler lab requirements • AP is accelerated and the equivalent of 1st year university psychology.
