  1. “Two boats on the water there will always be a race!” Something Different- Match Racing! NOR Description: Match racing as part of the Sunday San Juan 21 series. Also inviting all BSC members interested in match racing to participate. Put your pride on the line, get a crew and come out to try something different. Venue: Broad Creek directly in front of BSC Date: October 2, 2011 Boat: event held in San Juan 21’s -Working Sails Only Rules: IYRU 2009-2012 rules including Appendix C will be in effect. There will be on-water umpires for the event. We also have volunteers in place to run the Race Committee. Schedule: Skippers meeting and match race clinic to start at 11:00am. First flight at High Noon. Donation: $20.00 with proceeds benefiting ETYSA. Awards: to follow directly after racing concludes. Note: There are San Juan 21’s available at BSC for members who are interested in sailing, but do not have a boat. For more information contact Dan Bornarth, dbornarth@gmail.com. Spectator viewing from BSC clubhouse deck and docks will be highly entertaining and “Off Dock“ betting is encouraged! Bring your lunch, coolers, small change and enjoy a fun afternoon at BSC.
