I C D L It is the world's largest and fastest growing certification in computer skills. known as the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) inside Europe. It is designed specifically for those who wish to gain or improve basic qualification in computing with an internationally recognized qualification.

No prior knowledge of IT or desktop skills is required… It is the world's largest and fastest growing certification in computer skills. known as the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) inside Europe. It is designed specifically for those who wish to gain or improve basic qualification in computing with an internationally recognized qualification. WHY?

  6. HOW DOES ICDL WORK IN South Africa Training of ICDL is done by registered and certified Training centers like Business Academy of Southern AfricaThe Certification of Centers and management of examination is done by the Computer society of South Africa

  7. ICDL IN South Africa The Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education, and Ministry of ICT and e-Government All have authorized the ICDL program for their employees and teachers.

  8. MAIN STEPS TO GET YOUR ICDL CERTIFICATION Study the courses of ICDL 7 modules. Get your ICDL Skills Card from an accredited test centre like Business Academy of Southern Africa. It is a record of each module passed and valid for 3 years. Get your test and pass a module by achieving a score of 75% or greater. The maximum duration for each ICDL test is 45 minutes. After you successfully pass 1 theoretical and 6 practical tests, your stamped skills card will be sent to the Computer Society to get your ICDL certificate.

Module 5: Databases: (Microsoft Access) Planning a database, entering and sorting data, retrieving information, reporting... Module 6: Presentations: (Microsoft PowerPoint) Creating a presentation, formatting text/images, inserting graphics, printing, distribution, added effects... Module 7: Information and Communication: (Microsoft Internet Explorer) Getting started on the Internet, Web browsing, E-mail, managing messages...
