Biological Databases are computer sites that organize, store and disseminate files that contain information consisting literature references, nucleic acid sequences, protein sequences and structure .

  3. Database Varieties Bibliographic Nucleic acid sequence Protein sequence and structure Classified based on Nature of information stored –Sequence and structure Manner of Data storage – Flat files or tables in a relational database or Object in an object oriented database.
