  3. Whole note Half notes Quarter notes Eighth notes Can you see how many eighth notes equal a whole note?

  4. For now, we will use the meter signature 4/4 The top number tells you the number of beats in a measure. The bottom number tells you what kind of note gets one beat. The 4 on the bottom means that the quarter note gets one beat!

  5. Adding Fractions Adding………. ½ + ½ = ? Is the same as……… + =?

  6. How many counts do these examples get?
