  3. X10 – wat is dat? Domotica = Domus (huis) + telematica, dus ‘home automation’. X10 = communicatie protocol tussen modules via het lichtnet. - huis-selectie (A t/m P) - unit-selectie (1 t/m 16) Elk apparaat een unieke code, (16 x 16) 256 mogelijkheden. Tot 16 apparaten één huis-selectie code. A-1-ON = Apparaat 1 in huis A moet aan. B-6-DIM = Apparaat 6 in huis B moet dimmen.

  4. RF – wat is dat? RF = Radio Frequency, signalen door de lucht, op 433 MHz RF wordt gebruikt in domotica voor draadloze besturing van componenten. Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van een interface om RF om te zetten naar X10.
