Assemble with your class, decide on how much you think each piece of equipment would cost and hold it up when you are ready • Write down your totals and we will add them up at the end of our presentation. • No cheating!!! • All prices are rounded to the nearest $50.00 and include all taxes and delivery
Why are we doing this? • To appreciate the value of what our fundraising dollars are used for. • Because the class with the closest total at the end of our presentation wins a pail of Ice Cream and a box of Ice Cream Cones
Power Lift Recliner Lounger Chair • Assists with helping someone to rise to a standing position. • Allows a more comfortable sitting position with feet up and back reclined
Heavy Duty Walker • Assists with walking • Has brakes to slow it down as needed • Has a seat if needed for breaks in walking • Has a basket if being used for shopping
Manual Wheelchair • Provides mobility for someone who cannot walk for far distances • Saves energy while transferring between locations
Transfer Chair • Helps to save energy
Motorized Scooter • Increases mobility • Allows for quick trips to the store • Saves the energy of pushing or wheeling a wheelchair
Tilt Shower/Commode Chair • Prevents having to stand in the shower • Saves time/energy of transferring to the toilet • Made for more easier maneuvering
Power Hoyer Lift and accessories • Allows for someone to be picked up off of the floor if needed • Assists in moving someone from bed to chair • Movable and hydraulically run
Power Tilt Wheelchair • Enables someone to be more mobile with less exertion (controls are by finger only) • Allows for person to recline to a more comfortable position, as high as 35? degrees
Hospital Bed Table • Allows for easier access to necessary items • Lifts to different heights
Trapeze for hospital bed • Helps with transfer from chair to bed • Assists in helping someone to roll over or slide up higher on the bed
Hospital bed and Specially designed mattress • Allows patient to be adjusted to different comfortable positions • Mattress is specially designed to reduce pressure on the body

Your fundraising dollars go very far in assisting people with ALS! The money is used to buy equipment to make their lives easier and also for assisting in research to get rid of this horrible disease.
