Discover Our Library: Accessing Resources through IBistro

Explore the wealth of information available in our library through two easy methods. First, visit the Krum school website at www.krumisd.net, select your school from the dropdown, navigate to the “Library” section, and click “Search.” Alternatively, use a library computer to access the IBistro icon on the desktop. Enter your search terms to view results including titles, availability, and call numbers. For in-depth details, click “See More.” Plus, discover books through the Accelerated Reader by selecting “Reading Programs” or browse visually with “Visual Search.”

  1. IBISTRO or What’s in our library and how do I find it?

  2. There are at least two ways you can see the contents of our library…. The first way is…. From any computer, go the the Krum school website at www.krumisd.net

  3. Once you are on the website, choose which school you want to search from the dropdown menu….

  4. Once you are on the website, choose which department you want to search from the dropdown menu….in this case, choose “Library”

  5. Once you are on this page, choose “Search” at the bottom of the screen…

  6. The second way to see the contents of our library is…. While on a library computer, choose the IBistroIcon from the desktop Dyer IBistro

  7. This is the main search screen Type in your search terms in the center of the screen….

  8. What comes up in the results: Number of matches Picture Call number Title Availablility Links

  9. By clicking on the “See More” button or the picture of the book, more information about that book will come up on the screen (see next slide)

  10. This is the main search screen You can search for books on Accelerated Reader by choosing to search the “Reading Programs”

  11. By choosing “Visual Search” from the search screen you can browse by pictures….
