  6. Anal Fissure Treatment Anal fissure are small cuts/tears in the anus lining, which can be caused by trauma to the anal canal and anus. Usually bowel movement is a cause of the trauma. Also may be caused by a hard stool or repeated episodes of diarrhea. During childbirth, trauma to the perineum (the skin between the anus and the posterior vagina) may cause a cut that extends into the anoderm. What causes an anal fissure? • Constipation – large, hard feces (stools) are more likely to result in lesions in the anal area during a bowel movement than soft and smaller ones. • Diarrhea – repeated diarrhea can cause an anal fissure to develop. • Muscle spasms – experts believe that anal sphincter muscle spasms may increase the risk of developing an anal fissure. A spasm is a brief, automatic jerking muscle movement, when the muscle can suddenly tighten. Muscle spasms may also undermine the healing process. • Pregnancy and childbirth – pregnant women have a higher risk of developing an anal fissure towards the end of their pregnancy. The lining of the anus may also tear during childbirth. • Underlying conditions – some underlying conditions, such as  ulcerative colitis, and other inflammatory bowel diseases may cause ulcers to form in the anal area. • Anal sex – can in rare instances cause anal fissures. • WHCC’s Dr. Vandana Bansal is well experienced and among the best Fissure surgeons in Indore. There is no room for hesitation as being a female she understands all your problem and provides treatment in an overwhelming environment.

  7. Piles (Hemorrhoids) Piles are also known as Hemorrhoid. Piles are masses, clumps, cushions of tissue in the anal canal which are full of blood vessels, support tissue, muscle and elastic fibers. According to the US National Institutes of Health (NIH), symptomatic hemorrhoids affect at least half the American population at some time in their lives before the age of 50. • What are symptoms of Piles? In most cases, piles are not serious and go away on their own after a few days. A hard lump may be felt around the anus. It consists of coagulated blood, called a thrombosed external hemorrhoid. This can be painful – After going to the washroom, a feeling that the bowels are still full, Bright red blood after a bowel movement, Itchiness around the anus, Mucus discharge when emptying the bowels, Pain while defecating, and the area around the anus become red and sore. • Why do Piles occur? The blood vessels around the anus and in the rectum will stretch under pressure and may swell or bulge. Inflamed veins (hemorrhoids) can develop when pressure increases in the lower rectum. This may be due to – Chronic constipation, Chronic diarrhea, Lifting heavy weights, Pregnancy, Straining when passing a stool and the tendency to develop hemorrhoids may also be inherited. The risk of developing piles grows with age. • Why W.H.C.C. ? Dr. Vandana Bansal has expertise in curing Piles (Hemorrhoid). 8. Obesity Treatment Obesity itself is a major disease and is associated with many other health problems like diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, asthma, constipation, and heart attack. Dr. Vandana Bansal is a one of the best doctor in Indore. Obesity is one of the most pervasive and chronic diseases and it has a need of new strategies for medical treatment and prevention. • Dietary changes to treat Obesity include:- • Cutting calories. The key to weight loss is reducing how many calories you take in. • Feeling full on less. The concept of energy density can help you satisfy your hunger with fewer calories. • Making healthier choices for eating food. • Restricting certain foods which affects your health. • Meal replacements from junk food to nutritious food. • Exercise and activity • Exercise. People who are overweight or obese need to get at least 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity physical activity to prevent further weight gain or to maintain the loss of a modest amount of weight. To achieve more-significant weight loss, you may need to exercise 300 minutes or more a week. You probably will need to gradually increase the amount you exercise as your endurance and fitness improve. • Keep moving. Even though regular aerobic exercise is the most efficient way to burn calories and shed excess weight, any extra movement helps burn calories. Making simple changes throughout your day can add up to big benefits. Park farther from store entrances, rev up your household chores, garden, get up and move around periodically, and wear a pedometer to track how many steps you actually take over the course of a day.

  9. Varicose Veins Varicose veins are twisted, enlarged veins. Any superficial vein may become varicose, but the veins most commonly affected are those in your legs. That’s because standing and walking upright increases the pressure in the veins of your lower body. For many people, varicose veins and spider veins — a common, mild variation of varicose veins — are simply a cosmetic concern. For other people, varicose veins can cause aching pain and discomfort. Sometimes varicose veins lead to more-serious problems. Treatment may involve self-care measures or procedures by your doctor to close or remove veins. Symptoms:- • Veins that are dark purple or blue in color. • Veins that appear twisted and bulging; they are often like cords on your legs. • An achy or heavy feeling in your legs. • Burning, throbbing, muscle cramping and swelling in your lower legs. • Worsened pain after sitting or standing for a long time. • Combined with handful of model sentence and repudiated. • Itching around one or more of your veins. • When to come WHCC? Self-care — such as exercise, elevating your legs or wearing compression stockings — can help you ease the pain of varicose veins and may prevent them from getting worse. But if you’re concerned about how your veins look and feel and self-care measures haven’t stopped your condition from getting worse, visit WHCC Indore.
