  3. Analysis for NER (Primary Education, Grade 1-5) Year NER ( Primary 1-5) 2000 80.4 % (EFA, NPA) 2008 91.8 % (EFA Eva. Report) 2010 93.7 % (Flash Report I) • Annual increase in NER seems 0.95% • It will be 98.4 % by 2015….i.e.1.6 % will be out of school • Conclusion • It seems difficult to provide Education for all by 2015

  4. Analysis for Literacy Rate(Age group 15 -24) Year Literacy Rate (15 -24 of age) 2000 70% (EFA NPA) 2007 73% (SSRP base year ) 2010 80% (Flash Report I) • Literacy rate increases by about 2.3%/year • Seems difficult to achieve target • Conclusion • It seems difficult to provide Education for all by 2015.

  5. Why So ? • Young adolescents from poor and rural households. • They are more likely to be out of school because…. • Orphan children have to look after young one. • They have to do household works. • Grazing sheep/goat are their main job. • Lack of separate toilet for girls. • Lack of child friendly school environment. (a video clip)

  6. How to resolve • Allocating more budget in education. • Enhancing teachers’ professional development. • Making separate toilet facility for girls. • Keeping the schools peace zone. • Creating child friendly school environment. • Creating unfair politics free school environment.
