This guide outlines the steps for efficiently managing discharge medication orders in CareVISION. To begin the process, use the “Reorder” button to access the reorder screen. Filter orders by selecting “Active” in the Status Filter and “Pharmacy” in the Selection Filter. After finding orders, check the necessary boxes and confirm with OK. For manual entry, input discharge orders and specify dispense and refill numbers, then submit with your credentials. Remember to print prescriptions correctly, sign, and include a DEA number for controlled medications. For assistance, contact Clinical Systems.

To begin the discharge medication ordering process, select the “Reorder” button, which will bring up a reorder screen you can use to select the medications.

Printing Prescriptions • Four prescriptions will print on each page. • Sign each prescription. • For controlled medications, include your DEA number. • If necessary, write “medically necessary”. • Printing will occur on the printer configured for the computer you use.
