  3. Still Available Public Relations Chair • Work with Tech Communications Department on opportunities to communicate with the school and public • Contact alumni for involvement

  4. EWB T-Shirts! • Be sure to sign up to be guaranteed a shirt. • Approximate cost: $12 • Standard dress for most EWB events • Email ttu.ewb@gmail.com with name and shirt size by next Tuesday, October 18.

  5. Check your email for Waiver and Release of Liability form. Fill out and bring to next meeting or email to ttu.ewb@gmail.com • Immediate Needs: Project dates available as soon as next week.

Green Bean Drop This Saturday, at the First United Methodist Church Green Beans dropped off for Food Pantry • Serves 250 families per week/2000 people per month Help spray down the beans, bag them, and load them for food pantries We would start at 8:00 am, and be finished by 2:00 pm School newspaper will be there as well

  7. TAB Chili Cook Off Tailgating Competition Nov. 19th, best chili contest 1stPlace - $250 2nd Place - $150 They provide tents for us If interested in entering, please let us know

  8. Pumpkin Chunkin’ Contest Catapult distance competition Invite other organizations to enter Small entry fee goes to benefit EWB Prize goes to winning team If interested, sign up

Low Travel Risk

Susugaen, Phillippines Issue: sinkholes causing leaks, decreasing irrigation water during dry season, and lack of drinking water Project: fix leaks, accessing second stream for potable water Other info: some housing provided, labor, maintenance, and repairs funded by community • Could potentially benefit more than one community Some travel warning – avoid rural areas of southern and western Mindanao • Southern most island, Susugaen on the Northern most
