  1. Vocabulary: Session One

  2. Egoist: Your attitude towards life is simple and direct: Every decision you make is based on one question: What’s in it for me? If your selfishness, greed and desire to get ahead happen to hurt other people, you do not care.

  3. Egotist: “Have you heard of all the money I make? Did I tell you about my latest boy/girlfriend? Let me give you my opinion-it’s the only one that matters because I am an expert at everything.” You brag about yourself to the point of being obnoxious and your favorite topic to talk about is yourself.

  4. Altruist: You have discovered the true meaning of happiness: helping others. Never mind your own interest, problems or concerns-how is everyone else doing? How can you help others?

  5. Introvert: You always carefully examine your every single thought, action and feeling. You are constantly asking questions such as, “What do other people think of me?” You may seem unsocial, but your greatest desire is to fit in. You are shy, quiet and prefer to work alone and are uncomfortable in activities that require groups of people.

  6. Extrovert: You are always interested in people’s problems. You are the life of the party because you never worry about the effect of your actions. You are usually happy and full of high energy. You love to be with many people-the more the merrier. Your thoughts and actions are always turned outward.

  7. Ambivert: • You are both introverted and extroverted, depending upon the situation. Your interests and actions are both turned outward and inward equally. You tend to mix well in a crowd because your personality is the same as most people.

  8. Misanthrope: • Cynical, bitter and suspicious, you hate everyone. To you, everyone, the entire human race is stupid, mean and corrupt. You see no redeeming quality in anyone.

  9. Misogynist: • Somewhere in your past, you have been hurt deeply by a woman, either your mother or a past love. Because of this, you have carefully constructed a defense against the entire female race-you are determined to hate all women.

  10. Misogamist: • You will never make the entire legal commitment to marry. Members of the opposite sex are great as roommates, boy/girlfriends, coworkers or friends, but not as spouses. The ties of marriage are too constricting for you.

  11. Ascetic: • Self-denial and discipline are the characteristics you have deemed worthy of a good life. Your choices of food, dress and general lifestyle are the most simple they can be because you believe that the more you deprive yourself, the better.
