  3. What money looks like Money is used as a means of exchange that is used almost everywhere. It is used for the payment of goods and services that we, as consumers, demand. The number of units of money required to buy something is called the price. In the United States, we operate using the Dollar, Europeans use the Euro, and the English use the Pound.   4. How much each piece is worth Money can be broken down into cents to make it easier to compare what amount is the greater value.
