  2. Basic informations • Jilemnice is situated in the North-east of Czech republic • in a mountainous area of west foothills of Giant Mountains(is the gate to the Western Giant Mountains) • the town square is located 464 metres above the sea level • Has 6000 inhabitans

  3. History • established sometimes at the beginning of the 14th century • from 1701 was Jilemnice town of Harrach dynasty • Develop of textil industry • Many fires the biggest in 1788, 1803, 1838 • In 1788 buried 114 houses and others had to be destroyed
