The main tasks of students’ scientific research organisation and development at a higher school: • to establish conditions for discovering and realisation of personal creativity of students; • to enhance efficiency of students’ participation in scientific activities; • to increase efficiency of students’ scientific research by involving students into research on scientific challenges of highest priority, connected with today’s needs of society and the State.

The tasks of the business game “Step into Science” : • to make students familiar with possibilities and mechanisms of scientific research; • to ensure that students obtain primary scientific research skills; • to develop cooperation with lecturers of the department or faculty in the framework of students’ scientific research.

The rules of business game: • project teams are composed of 3-5 persons by choice of students; • the projects are developed and grounded by the teams using Internet resources and other sources of information with support of scientific advisors; • developed solutions are presented in established form (table 3); explanatory notes (in any form) can be attached. In addition to the materials said, the teams need to prepare presentations of developed solutions; • representatives of organisations providing financial support to scientific research, make decisions on the basis of presented materials and provide financial support (in pre-established amounts) to a certain project; • a team, which receives the largest amount of financial support, will be the winner.
