  1. Enriching Soil Yielding Capacity Since the primitive age, human civilization is dependent on agriculture and crops as a constant and reliable source for food. This is so because agriculture is a systematic process that involves growing crops according to the soil, weather and water type. The 6 basic nutrients that ensure good yield and high quality of crops are carbon(C), hydrogen(H), oxygen(O) nitrogen(N), phosphorus(P) and potassium(K). While carbon, oxygen and hydrogen are available through air and water, soil provides nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. But continuing farming, generation after generation on the same piece of land leads to the loss of these nutrients naturally

  2. found in the soil. Fertilizers and manure help in reviving the nutrition and the strength of the soil. Fertilizers and its types One common misconception about fertilizers is its consideration as manure which on mixing with soil increases its nutrition. This misconception has led to poor results in yield even after using high-quality fertilizers. While fertilizers help in soil fertilization process but that needs periodic soil amendation, which helps in boosting the soil quality according to its type. Fertilizers are of two types: 1. Organic Fertilizers. 2. Inorganic or Synthetic Fertilizers. While organic fertilizers come from organic materials like bones or composted manure, synthetic fertilizers are made by processing raw materials containing the required components for the soil. The slow releasing factor of nutrients from the organic fertilizers makes it healthy for the soil in the long term. But if the condition of the soil is poor and the microbes inactive, the synthetic fertilizers work the best. Synthetic Fertilizers The synthetic fertilizers have the three main components - nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium which are available in various ratios in form of N:P:K. This ratio for a specific fertilizer decides the way of applying it to the soil. For example, potassium-rich fertilizer is highly recommended for potato farming. Since quality is a major factor here so one must Buy The Best Quality Potassium Sulphate from the market. Synthetic fertilizers are highly water soluble which enables faster absorption by the plant. Some other types of synthetic fertilizers are phosphorus-rich fertilizers and nitrogen-rich fertilizers. Superphosphates are phosphorus-based fertilizers which can address various kind of soil issues. On the other hand, nitrates are nitrogen-rich fertilizers that enable quick release of nitrogen to the soil. Potassium-rich fertilizers Farming of fruit trees, potatoes and chillies require potassium-based fertilizers. However, undergoing soil amendation is a must and if the soil is found deficient of potassium, then only one must go for such fertilizer. Soil can quickly absorb muriate of potash and sulphates of potash and sandy soil especially appreciates such treatment. This is where various types of manure and fertilizers are used.

  3. One should buy the best quality potassium sulphate for better yield as higher quality ensures better ratios for specific soil type. Last but not the least, it is advisable to use synthetic fertilizers, under controlled measures as excessive use can even lead to leaching of soil and also burn the foliage, thereby damaging the crops.
