  1. Badminton We sometimes play Badminton during PE. We played it during Active Schools Week also. It was great fun!

  2. What is badminton? Badminton is a racquet sport played by either two opposing players or two opposing pairs who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court divided by a net.

  3. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racquet so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponents’ half of the court.

  4. Chloe Magee is an Irish professional badminton player. She is from Raphoe. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, she became the first ever Irish woman to win a badminton match at the Olympics. She took part in the Olympics in London last year

  5. I wonder will we have any future Olympians from Donagh National School????
