  3. Case • Kindergarten class in a suburban area • Children with mild disabilities K-3 • Uses Kidspiration to work on a number of subject areas including • Phonics • Science • Social studies • Family • School has the most current technology in the district

  4. LoTi • The use of Kidspiration not only teaches the child different subjects but it also allows the child to interact with the computer by clicking and making choices. • Could be used as a connection activity.

  5. Strengths (Benefits) & Weaknesses • Strengths • Computer skills • Educational advancement at child’s own pace and ability • Positive feedback • Enforces creativity • Weaknesses • Students with severe disabilities have difficulty working with the program.

  6. Student Access to Technology • Students move at own pace when working on a computer • Not as teacher directed • Interactive • Takes into account learning style differences
