My Criticism Jonathan acevedo,8th grade
“AGRARIAN LEADER ZAPATA” fresco detail on plaster, 1931.
Description • AGRAIAN LEADER ZAPATA is part of a painting. It is a painting that looks like the sitting is in a war. There is a white horse in the painting. The war looks like it took place in the forest. Also another thing is that in the scene it looks like they just won a war.
Analysis • In the painting Diego used a lot of shade colors. He made most of the figures(the men) look like hey are hispanic.in the painting he man with the hoarse stands out more in the picture.im thinking that the man with the hoarse is the leader of the other men. I say that because most leaders have a hoarse.
Interpretation • In the setting the men look like they just won a war. It seems like they did because there is a dead man under/behind the leader or the man with the hoarse. The war that they probably were in looks like it was important or a historical time picture.
Judgment • The art work looks good because he drew the people and the hoarse very good with details.one thing that I think he needed was more colors. I also like that he didn’t have empty spaces. The thing I didn’t like was that in the painting the men are not doing anything but standing in place. Every thing is great but for me the things I said were the only thing I think he needed.
