  1. Welcome to Health Services Algonquin College's Health Services Department on your Campus Provides Professional, Confidential Medical Services for Students and Staff.

  2. Health Services Hours of Operation Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Physicians, Dietician, and Psychiatrist are Available by Appointment Walk-ins to see the Doctor are Triaged by a Registered Nurse.

  3. Health Services Registered Nurses Provide Assessment and Treatment of Minor Illnesses or Injury with no Appointment Necessary.

Welcome to Heath Services Health Services Offers • Allergy Injections • Doctors Appointments • Vaccinations • Health Counseling (Stress, Exercise, Diet, Smoking, Drugs, Alcohol) • Contraceptive Information and Prescriptions • Emergency Contraceptive including Plan B • Sale of Birth Control at Reduced Prices • Blood Tests (Including Confidential HIV Testing) • STI Testing • Nutrition Counseling • Free Condoms

  5. Health Services In Cooperation with Counselling Services (C 226) &Centre for Students with Disabilities (C 142) We Offer Assistance with Almost any Problem you may Encounter while at the College.

  6. Health Services Being ready is your responsibility! If your program requires immunizations, it can take up to two months to complete. Immunization forms can be downloaded from the Health Services website: http://www.algonquincollege.com/studentservices/healthservices Nurses are available to assist you with your forms on a walk-in basis between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm

  7. Health Services We provide Free and Confidential STI and HIV Testing. Protect Yourself, use a Condom Every Time!

  9. Health Services We have a dietician!Our dietician can look at your current diet and recommend positive, nutritious changes that you can make.Our dietician is vegetarian and vegan-friendly!

  10. Health Services PAP tests are recommended every year once you become sexually active. PAP tests help screen for early signs of cervical cancer. Make an Appointment for a PAP with One of our Doctor’s Today.

  11. Health Services Are you Thinking About Quitting Smoking? Support Services are Available Here.

  12. Health Services Travelling Somewhere Hot? Hepatitis A & B are serious liver diseases that are very easily transmitted. Make a travel appointment with one of our doctors to make sure you are prepared! ($20.00)
