  8. DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES • Development of incubation project in agriculture crop production • Mentoring to land beneficiaries for sustainability • Facilitation of 50 Plant Production Learnerships (AgriSETA/ CCMA/Agri Mpumalanga) • Agro Processing Plant (Dept Econ Dev/MEGA)

  9. DEMONSTRATION FARMSEDA/ALUWANI INCUBATOR PROJECT • Commenced 1 August 2007 • Funded 100% by Seda/Stp • Hosted at Tekwane Vegetable Project • 30 projects in Incubation for first intake – SMME`s • Incubation period – 3 years

  10. OBJECTIVES OF INCUBATOR To • Enhance competitive capability • Ensure high returns on investment • Create sustainable SMMEs • Create jobs • Contribute to economic growth of previously disadvantaged individuals
