  4. Existing Conditions • Heavy commercial activity • Auto-oriented businesses • Pedestrian un-friendly • Auto dominated • Lack of neighborhood services • Adjacent to residential areas • Single family and multi-family housing • Popular eating locations

  5. Neighborhood Resident Suggestions • More landscaping • Increase the safety of pedestrians • Provide neighborhood services • No student housing • Improve the railroad bridge • Connect to river • Extend trail • Fill vacant properties
