Strategic Plan • Each team fills out the Strategic Plan form on the Summit Website. This creates their commitment for the categories and quantities of products their country will import at the Summit event. (5 points for on-time submission of plan) 2. Categories & Quantities of Export/ Import Products • There are 13 categories of export/import products / services. Countries control differing categories and quantities of these products. Each country can see what products they begin with on the Summit website. 3. Countries score by importing • At the Summit, countries score points by importing – not exporting. To score the maximum points for imports , the country must acquire from other countries the exact number and categories of products that the country committed to on its pre Summit Strategic Plan. (30 points for completion of 100% of its import goals.) Introduction – What is the Summit? What does your country need? Long Term Development Cards are purchased from the Summit Bank during the Summit event. Each country may purchase up to 4 cards and will earn 5 points for each one purchased.
