IEEE Computer Society Email Consolidation Goal:Integrate the IEEE Computer Society Email alias and Email list management services with the overall IEEE email infrastructure by leveraging the current Operations Center installations of Sendmail and ListServ applications. Domain support for the Computer Society Email alias will be maintained along with ensuring a seamless consolidation (no service interruptions) that will provide the same or improved level of service going forward. 2

  5. IEEE Computer Society Email Consolidation STATUS • IEEE Staff has completed the discovery phase. In this phase the staff gathered information about the current Computer Society Email Environments supporting Email Aliases & Mailing Lists. • IEEE Staff is now working on creating a development environment. This environment will be used to develop the Web Interface for the Computer Society Aliases and the back-end processes to update alias information. • Additional Equipment & licenses have been ordered. 5
